The new Auburn Arena is not set to open until October, but the place is move in ready!
The new facility features an impressive four sided, three level, center hung LED scoreboard video system. The new screen was provided by Capturion LED.
Screen Stats
The top screen is 416x224 SMD pixels at a 10mm pixel pitch.
The middle screen is 336x112 SMD pixels at a 12mm pixel pitch.
Bottom circular ribbon is 1120x64 SMD pixels at a 12mm pitch.
Control System
The main screen can be controlled either by the live production switch or by the ClickEffects Blaze. The two inputs are selectable by push button GPIO. The middle screen and lower ribbon are both controlled by ClickEffects Blaze.
The ClickEffects Blaze server shows real-time data from the OES Scoreboard Controller. and Stats from StatCrew.

Radford University, Radford, Virginia

The Dedmon Center at Radford University is now featuring two new LED scoreboards.
The new boards are the only scoring surfaces in the arena and show all game data and statistical information as graphical overlays.
The new screen was provided by Capturion LED.
Screen Stats
The screen is 304x176 SMD pixels at a 16mm pixel pitch.
Control System
The screen is downstream of a TVOne scaler/keyer. This allows the control room to use the screen for live video, spirit elements, and game data.
The MotionRocket Launchpad LED display controller allows the user to define subwindows which allows the live video to be full screen or shown as a subwindow, allowing game data to be placed around the live video.
Spirit elements and Intro videos play full screen.
The installation is unique in two aspects. First, the Launchpad server is controlled by a Crestron automation panel which calls up videos and templates from touch screens located around the venue.
Next, the Launchpad server is also providing the real time data data to a NewTek TriCaster which allows game data to be embeded on the internet stream.
The static game clocks and game data is provided by the OES Scoreboard Controller. and Stats are provided by StatCrew.

Akron, Ohio is the home of the Akron Zipps as well as a new LED Scoreboard.
The new screen was provided by Capturion LED.
Screen Stats
The main screen is 608x344 pixels at a 20mm pixel pitch.
End Zone Ribbon is 592x64 pixels at a 20mm pixel pitch.
Side ribbon is 1792x32 pixels at a 22mm pitch.
Control System
The main screen is downstream of a Newtek TriCaster (SDI) into a Gefen HD-SDI-DVI Scaler Plus. The front and side ribbon displays are controlled by a MotionRocket Launchpad LED display controller.
The Launchpad clip server shows real-time data from the OES Scoreboard Controller.

Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina is now playing football under the bright lights of a new LED video scoreboard.
The new screen was provided by Capturion LED.
Screen Stats
The main screen is 416x160 pixels at a 22mm pixel pitch.
End Zone Ribbon is 416x48 pixels at a 22mm pixel pitch.
Control System
The main screen is downstream of a production switcher and can also be overlayed with game date and spirit videos using the MotionRocket Launchpad LED display controller.
The Launchpad video and the live video are overlayed using a TVone scaler/Keyer.
The Launchpad clip server shows real-time data from the OES Scoreboard Controller.

Mississippi State HD Scoreboard

In Starkville, Mississippi everyone is a BullDog.
The campus of MSU is the heart and soul of this small town; so it is no wonder the news of a huge high definition video scoreboard gets the locals talking.
Everyone for students, teachers, local bloggers, and newscasters had their eyes fixed on the Capturion scoreboard company (supported by Idea Deployment) while they erected this massive display.
True HD
The center screen is 1696 x 720 pixels. Having 720 pixels (or more) qualifies the screen as 720p High Definition. The pixel pitch of the display is 20mm providing crisp viewing.
Ad Panels
The Side mounted Ad Panels and bottom ribbon display area also active video LED surfaces. Each area can be used to display video, static images and game data.

Rice University LED Basketball Scoreboard

Rice University, based in Houston Texas, has completed a large renovation project in the Tudor Fieldhouse.
Millions of dollars has been spend transforming this facility into a beautiful addition to an already beautiful campus.
Idea Deployment provided consulting services assisting Capturion in the installation of two 10mm pitch SMD LED displays. The four sided center hung scoreboard has a pixel resolution of 448x256 and the score tables has a resolution of 1440x80. The score tables are comprised of six 240x80 tables which link together to forum the entire surface. The content is driven by LED Bay6 Banner Edition which was developed for this purpose.

Full Sail University outdoor SMD LED Display

Real World Education. Full Sail University prides itself on exposing its students to equipment used by the professional world.
When the time came to purchase an LED video system, Full Sail went with Barco.
The system is comprised of 51 SLite 10 XP FX Full Pitch 10 Color Modules for the video screen and 120 OLite 612 full Color modules for the ribbon.
This installation was created to exhibit the work of students in the Graphic Arts and Animation degree programs.
Idea Deployment supplied the Scala software to drive the content for both screens. Custom software configurations were used to drive the 6,000+ pixels of the ribbon within one 800x600 PC resolution.

The Peppermill Casino in Reno, NV is one of the top 10 casinos in American as determined by MSN with Citysearch.
Living up to its reputation, what else would do for an establishment of this caliber than a new 6.25mm virtual pitch full color video screen?
This amazing board is approx 30' x 20' in size and an amazing 960 x 1440 pixel resolution. Sold by Capturion LED of Laurel, MS, this display is driven using Scala Infochannel 5. At the date of its installation, it is now the tightest resolution display in Reno.

No one wants to wait in line at their favorite theme park. And no one understands this better than the theme parks themselves! Providing up to the minute accurate wait times allows guests to select attractions based on the attractions current queue time.
The Wait Time Management System created for Universal Studios Orlando utilizes wireless or wired Ethernet to distribute wait times to small LED based displays which are installed at the attraction entrance. As well as on Wireless Ethernet enabled battery powered mobile LED displays.
